The miniature house was first introduced in January 2013 and is still available in limited quantities. An adapter is included to illuminate the house and the lights can be set to either flash or to stay on.

The Dept. 56 Griswold House measures 11.02 x 6.89 x 7.48 inches and is hand-painted to look just like the house in the movie. With snow on the roof and shrubbery near the front door, the Griswold Christmas village house perfectly captures the details of the family's home in the movie and shrinks them down into a display piece you can enjoy at home. The Department 56 Christmas Vacation house figure is freestanding and can be displayed on its own, with "Cousin Eddie's RV" or as part of a festive tabletop holiday town.
